2008 and 2009 mark the back-to-back bicentennial celebrations of two (oppositely) back-to-back Presidents. The Lincoln Project is based in Greeneville, Tennessee, the home of the Andrew Johnson National Historic Site (click here) and the President Andrew Johnson Library and Museum (click here) at Tusculum College.
During the recently completed Johnson Bicentennial, The Lincoln Project CLE Chris Small gave first-person Lincoln presentations at several National History Day events. He was the narrator for the September 17 National Constitution Day program (click here) at the Niswonger Performing Arts Center (NPAC) in Greeneville, Tennessee.
During the Abraham Lincoln Bicentennial, Chris Small will appear as Abraham Lincoln in various venues around the United States. The Lincoln Project is also working with various partners hold a number of local events in our hometown of Greeneville, Tennessee:

10: “Lincoln’s Living Legacy: 200 Years of Interpretation” -- A symposium at Tusculum College, 8 AM - 12 Noon, September 10. Presenters will include Thomas Mackie of the Abraham Lincoln Library & Museum (Lincoln Memorial University), Peter Wisbey of the William Seward House, William Forstchen of Montreat College (article), and Chris Small of The Lincoln Project. Registration of $10 must be made by August 28. Made possible through the partnership of The Museums of Tusculum College, The Lincoln Project, and Arts Outreach of Tusculum College.
